The Moore Wright 56R Spring Joint Jenny Caliper is manufactured from polished tool steel and the marking leg has been hardened to over 550Hv at the point. It is fitted with a bow spring that ensures uniform tension over the working range and a centrally mounted adjustment screw that offers finer setting than firm joint type.
