The SECUMAX 145 is our clever, compact safety knife for routine cutting tasks – also available in an MDP version. The metal-detectable plastic handle and 0.5 mm strong blade give a robustness to the lightweight 14 g knife. Its concealed cutting edges easily cope with single-layered cardboard, film and packing tape and keep your fingers safe. 2-in-1 blade head

The blade head provides two functions: cutting and piercing. Use the knife's noses to the left and right of the blade to effortlessly pierce materials (e.g. card and film), and the blade head’s corners for packing tape.

Concealed blade

With a 4 mm cutting access, the blade is highly concealed. Out of reach for fingers but accessible to the materials to be cut. And contents under the cutting surface will also be kept safe from contact with the cutting edge.

Stainless steel blades are standard in the SECUMAX 145 MDP – optimal for regular use under demanding conditions and for cleaning with water.

Flat and robust design

Right handed? Left handed? It’s really all the same. Because the SECUMAX 150 MDP perfectly fits any hand – even in gloves. The large handle surface feels particularly pleasant as a secure place for the thumb, fingers and hand.

This professional general-purpose adjustable Block Plane has a fine grey iron body and is adjustable for depth of cut and alignment. A block plane is designed to cut end grain and is typically small enough to be used with one hand with the cutting blade (also known as an iron) bedded at a lower angle with the bevel up compared against other planes. It is frequently used for paring end grain, possible because its blade had been set at a shallow bed angle.
